Week Two

[Last week, no murder happened! Instead, a lot of students started work on Salieri's school play, which sounds pretty cool even though it's gonna be short, several people destroyed Bigfoot and got a few mysterious clues, and Orpheus started a fire in the kitchen! All in all, not a bad first week!

Though some people might have gone to talk to Hester, she hasn't made any more public announcements. There's some new papers posted up around the cafeteria, but it looks like it's just your upcoming lunch schedule. Seems like nothing's driving you towards Rule Five except, perhaps, all of the kidnapping and how criminally boring some of you are finding the school. Maybe the Balladeer is right, and you really can just wait this out? Only time will tell!]

[Spongebob acted his sponge heart out at this performance. Sure he was sometimes overeager and entered before his cue, and there was a tiny bit of corpsing on his end, but he did a great job on balancing his singing and piano playing. You would have thought this was his role of a life time and not just a fun little project they did over the weekend.

And the passion obviously extends to the snacks he made for the party. There's a wide array of cute little cakes and snacks for everyone to munch on, and of course there are little Krabby Patty sliders because it feels like a crime to not have them here!

He spends most of the party offering everyone snacks and idle chitchat. He's so overjoyed he looked like he could be walking on thin air right now.]

Wasn't that just a blast? We should definately do this next week too!

[Salieri is nursing a cup of mead at the moment, looking more relaxed than he ever has before, and there's a small smile on his face at Spongebob's enthusiasm]

I'm glad you enjoyed it, Monsieur Spongebob. In fact, I have been considering it. There's certainly more to be written.

[Spongebob practically lights up when he sees Salieri, almost dropping his plate of Krabby Patties as he waves at him.]

Mr. Salieri! Did you like my performance? I know it was my first time but it was so fun!

[My, that enthusiasm certainly has a charm to it. Salieri can not help be more than happy but to confirm:]

Indeed I did. You performed wonderfully. It is not an easy thing, to play and sing at the same time, but you performed that and your solo most excellently.

[He looks like he's about to cry tears of joy at those compliments.]

Thank you so much Mr. Salieri! I'll admit I was really nervous; it's been a really long time since I performed on stage, but it was so much fun! And I think next time we could add some ukulele to it for some extra flair.

[Granted, the mechanics of that are a little vague. Anyway - sliders, holy shit???]

Ooh that sounds fun! That's about how many shifts a week I had at the Krusty Krab before coming here.

- And speaking of that's a Krabby Patty you're eating right now! I thought it was about time to let you all have a taste of the best sandwich in the ocean.

Sorry Mr. Balladeer, but that's a trade secret! I promised Mr. Krabs when I was hired that I would never tell anyone the secret formula!

[Not like he can cook anyway, so he wasn't gonna be able to do anything with that.]

Yup! It's not super hard if you know the recipe, of course it's all about the ratio and love you put into it!

[Cassandra was doing her best beside him, but nobody can out-dramatic Spongebob. Not for lack of trying, of course, but she was only in the chorus roll, as it was.]

Alright. I'll admit, it wasn't terrible. [She'd love to escape, but... if they're doing this instead of killing each other... she'll take this.]

...So, what are these?

[She jabs a finger at the Krabby Patty Sliders.]

Hi Cass! It was really fun to act with you.

[He holds the plate closer to her.]

It's a Krabby Patty! You should try it; they're absolutely delicious!

[feudalladyshandmaid]

Yeah! You too.

[She eyes the platter with suspicion, and the Krabby Patty she picks up even more.]

"Krabby Patty"...? So it's a sandwich from home, then.

[She's curious, and nobody's been poisoned yet. Sooo... she'll slowly try a nibble.]

[He looks at her expectantly.]

[He absolutely beams with pride (for some reason he was worried she would have a negative reaction).]

I did! I've made these guys enough times that I could make these little beauties in my sleep. Besides, I want you guys to make sure you have the best food possible for such a great performance!

[Thank the gods that Spongebob is here to cook. Angus is snacking on everything he's made; nothing soothes the soul like decent food.]

You had quite the performance! Truly, your voice is one fit for the stage.

[Spongebob starts blushing.]

Gee, you really think so? It was my first time singing on stage so I'll admit I was a little nervous!

All are nervous on their first quest. [not everything is a quest, Angus] It added a much-needed harmony to the narration.

Acting is a noble job, and I salute you for your work.

Really? [Oh gosh he's tearing up now.] You should join in on the acting next time too! I think you'd be great at it!

I wanted to, but to my despair, the lead singer needs a deep voice. I'm too high for that!
