[Another week, and two more dead. King Richard and Red are both gone, and once again, it was through nothing more than an accident in the heat of the moment. Maybe if you all stay calm and collected, nothing bad will happen again?

Well, maybe not.

When you wake on Sunday, you'll find that you've recovered another one of those memories - or had another dream, if you still wanna be in denial about it. The grounds remain as they are, but this time, the door blocking the stairwell has been unsealed. You can now venture up to the second floor! This is the second time that's happened; it's almost as if you get more space every time someone dies. Or maybe the whole place just seems quieter.]

[He looks less dead now, more upset at hearing this turn of events. The Doctor had every reason to act the way he did-]

Who tells someone how they should feel, must less about- [He catches himself about to get a bit too intense and takes a deep breath.] I am sorry, doctor. I have never had a child, but I am expected to produce an heir...but that pain is one I cannot imagine.

She did it by phone. [He'd been just happy to hear from her honestly.] And it's OK. [It's not.] I've...I'm getting over it. The point is - and I'm not trying to compare this to losing Earth, that's billions of lives, this is just one - I've had my own lows, and...it's hard, Angus.

It didn't have to be hard for either of us. [At least this conversation has him animated again.] She was someone you trusted and who betrayed you, much like how- how the Grandmaster of the Knights fought for Zargothrax in the alternate reality.

[Both hurt, but that's comparing losing many people that you were meant to protect and losing someone very dear to you.]

And yet you seem happy here, are you not?

[Pain is pain. And while Stephen may huff a bit in amusement, he's...smiling a little, clearly appreciating the sentiment.]

It's...been a distraction. Aside from the obvious. [The whole. Threat of being murdered, and also having to put people to death. That sure is a thing.]

I didn't really have a group of friends like you guys, back home. I guess that's the silver lining.

[Indeed, the days when he had fooled around with the teenagers were among the best days of his life.]

If I could, I would hope to see all of you again once we are free. Once I have rebuilt the kingdom, of course. [Lots of things break when ruled by an evil sorcerer.] There aren't many people I have left home, only those that followed me through the portal...

...and It would be nice to have more friends to share it with.

...you're welcome to come visit my Earth. [Does he bring this up?...he's bringing this up, looking only slightly awkward] Mephisto's already planning it, and if I can, I'd like to look up the others' schools.

And...it'd be interesting to see other worlds than mine, too.

Ah, the worlds without magic? [And according to Riley, just have regular high schools?] That would be interesting to see.

[He sits up, trying to loosen Stephen's hold.] Once I get back, I would like to visit the places my ancestor did a millennium before my time. Just to imagine his first journey to fight Zargothrax, only by flying instead of foot.

[He laughs to himself.] Maybe take a nap in forest of Glenthroes. If he received a prophetic dream there, then so can I.

{Stephen doesn't resist, even pulling back his arm to rest his hands in his lap]

Tell me about Glenthroes?

[Distractions.]

The town? In my era, it's beautiful. A town of scholars and botany wizards whose enchantments spread to the wilds around it. [He rubs his shoulder.] But I've heard what Zargothrax had done to it - the Deathknights terrorized the populace and sent their hordes of undead to ensure they paid tribute regularly.

[...]

Hopefully, if he is truly gone, it can be a place of peace again.

[He makes a thoughtful sound, thinking]

...if we've really been taken from all times and places...maybe we could use the tech to go back to before that happened. Before...Earth happened, for you.

[There's a lot of people he wants to save. That deserve to be saved.]

I just hope that we can stop him for good this time.

[The Doctor is a smart man; he'll find out something.]

The goal is to get enough of us to the dwarven tunnels under the citadel of Dundee to stop him from summoning an elder god. I'd had to find Ralathor and ask where he is first-

[He rubs his temples.] But it could be done. I think it...can be done. [He tries to smile, but it must be the panic stopping it from being genuine.]

[He manages a wry chuckle; he's never thought himself as a motivator. Navigation, maybe. There's something else that's come to mind, though.]

If you couldn't do it...could you still evacuate?

[Evacuating a whole planet seems...impossible. But if Prox exists...]

Perhaps. It will take time and many resources, but the demon army and the chaos wizards on Mars are a threat, too-

[Two things to do at once!]

As a prince, the soldiers look up to me for inspiration, not just the Knight and Questlords. It will be a battle on two fronts - one group on Earth and one on Mars. If we split up, I fear there may be grave repercussions.

I'm thinking if you just had more time to prepare. Since you know, more or less, what he's going to do- we can try and outthink him.

Guarding the portal to hell would be the first step of the operation. But not so much that Zargothrax is alerted to our presence.

Can he fight off an immortal wizard?

I will have to be there. Only my Hammer of Glory has the ancient power to defeat him for good, but then someone must ensure that he believes I am elsewhere.

I believe he knows how to change his appearance?
