[Another week, and two more dead. King Richard and Red are both gone, and once again, it was through nothing more than an accident in the heat of the moment. Maybe if you all stay calm and collected, nothing bad will happen again?

Well, maybe not.

When you wake on Sunday, you'll find that you've recovered another one of those memories - or had another dream, if you still wanna be in denial about it. The grounds remain as they are, but this time, the door blocking the stairwell has been unsealed. You can now venture up to the second floor! This is the second time that's happened; it's almost as if you get more space every time someone dies. Or maybe the whole place just seems quieter.]

[ She looks up from her book and then on reflex moves to list and offer up the plate of sandwiches beside her to him. ]

Do I? I’m just doing what I can to keep it together, hehe...

[He glances between the sandwiches, Nana, and then around the garden before taking one.

It's just a sandwich, bud.]

Many of your companions are in rougher spots than you. [He breathes out a small sigh.] It's relieving that there is one less person to worry about.

...Yeah. [ Her smile drops. ] I heard... about some of the stuff that happened yesterday.

[ She doesn’t say much else but that because what else DO you even say ]

I should apologize for the disturbance.

[Not. Actually apologizing. Sometimes you do what's necessary.]

Everyone is still alive, at least of those that were involved. We should count our blessings, I suppose. [He makes a face.] If you're the type.

Yeah, thank goodness for that.

[ She stares down at her book for a moment. ]

I wish I could just... do more for the others though. Make every thing better for them.

At this point, the best we can do is keep an eye on ourselves. [He glances toward the opera house, wondering if the Phantom can hear them, even there.]

He seeks to manipulate our weaknesses. If we can be mindful of what strings he'll try to pull, maybe we'll do better at resisting his temptations.
