WEEK 2
[From the day you arrived on the planet, and blinking, stepped into the sun. There's more to see than can ever be seen, and more to do than can ever be done. Yet, still, the whole thing seems...monotonous. Surely there must be some excitement, some showmanship, some sort of plot twist that could keep this show moving onward?

Valjean takes a deep, deliberate breath, and folds his hands. He had not wanted to do this. But really, he's made little secret of his legal status while here - it's an ugly public scene, but truthfully, doesn't amount to much more than what's been done.]

[There is a very strange look in Astarte's eyes when Javert sings about sin. She wobbles a bit, after a moment of just staring at him, and shakes her head.

She knows nothing about...Valjean?]

and his mistakes when I asked

[Raoul looks from Javert to Valjean, mouth agape and appearing at a loss. He'd sing, but he's not sure what to believe right now. He respects both of these men...truly, he does, and they are from his country and thus highly trustworthy. But Valjean is some sort of criminal? But he's very kind and has done nothing but be kind in turn to everyone here. What sort of thing could he have done for Javert to hold it against him so?

He takes a steadying breath and makes to go between the two men.] Monsieurs, please - is this truly the time for such a discussion...?
