week 2
[From the day you arrived on the planet, and blinking, stepped into the sun. There's more to see than can ever be seen, and more to do than can ever be done. Yet, still, the whole thing seems...monotonous. Surely there must be some excitement, some showmanship, some sort of plot twist that could keep this show moving onward?
Welcome to week 2, gents.]

[He really doesn't know.]
I find this liquid to be quite viscous, and it does seem to work properly in the machine. It might work.

[He's just going to start filling up the sink with hot water now.]
I guess I could talk to the Balladeer about it if these clothes get ruined?
[His solution to everything now is to suggest going to the Balladeer about it.]

[He'll bring over the detergent though, it's what they have on hand, and it's been working fine in the machine.]
Though I do wish we had a little more agency in this place, if we must stay here.

[I mean...look he'd like his own private bathroom too but he'd sucked it up and made due, a man's gotta be clean.]

[He has his limits, Raoul.]

[Like if there's been a dick measuring contest he hasn't noticed and doesn't care.]

That's easy for you to say. You don't look like you've ever had to worry about what other people thought about you.

[Lessons in so many things, constant etiquette minding, cultivating attentiveness...a lot goes into being a noble. Good thing he's honest on top of it.]
no subject
Maybe I just worry too much about what other people think of me?
no subject
Hm...well. That, I'm afraid, does not have an easy solution. I could tell you to simply grit your teeth and confront your fears, but we're in dire enough straights as it is.
[We're already in murder opera let's not add self-inflicted trauma to the mix.]
no subject
Maybe once we get out here, you can help teach me to be a better person?
no subject
[You're already a pretty good guy though, so you have a great basis for this.]
no subject
[He brightens up, looking kind of surprised.]
