[From the day you arrived on the planet, and blinking, stepped into the sun. There's more to see than can ever be seen, and more to do than can ever be done. Yet, still, the whole thing seems...monotonous. Surely there must be some excitement, some showmanship, some sort of plot twist that could keep this show moving onward?

Well, the Balladeer did tell me he was going to get plants for me. I think that's pretty generous already.

[There is definitely some doubt in his voice, though.]

Yeah, if you ignore the whole kidnapping and the part where they want us to murder each other, they're really great.

[She rolls her eyes.]

Come on, dude.

I'm just saying I expected our kidnapper to be a lot more hostile to us. He doesn't seem too eager to have us kill each other, anyway?

[robitussin]

Yeah, and I'm just saying basing your opinions of him based on how he says things rather than what he's saying and doing is a mistake. So he seems nice and friendly, that's cool, but he's still working for the people who want us to die horribly.

I mean, there must be a reason he took the job, or a reason they picked him.

[dontfeedplants]

[If only Seymour normally had someone like you in his life.]

You're right. I think I'm just too trusting sometimes.

[robitussin]

Yeah. Might not be the best thing to do given the reason we're supposed to be here.

[Seymour nods slowly.]

I just... I just wish we had some contact with the outside world.

[robitussin]

Yeah. Gonna take a wild guess and say you're not alone there.

Right, I shouldn't just be thinking about myself.

... Is there anyone you miss from home?

[robitussin]

[she hesitates for a moment.]

Yeah. I mean... I'm sure everyone has at least one person.
