WEEK 2
[From the day you arrived on the planet, and blinking, stepped into the sun. There's more to see than can ever be seen, and more to do than can ever be done. Yet, still, the whole thing seems...monotonous. Surely there must be some excitement, some showmanship, some sort of plot twist that could keep this show moving onward?

They're on fire! [Hime shuts the stove off and, like she'd been taught, puts a cookie sheet over the burning eggs. The sizzle and smoke starts to fade without air. Hime slumps dramatically against the oven.]

[dieformymusic]

[Winslow makes a startled reach to try put out the fire before she does so herself.

Well...she's safe...so why the dramatics?

He walks over to Hime...gently tapping her. Are you okay?]

[Hime jumps and squeaks. She turns around and laughs nervously.]

First the sewing machine and now this...

[dieformymusic]

[...what is this child's problem.

Scrawl. "Bad luck today?"]

[rockthistown]

[sigh] It's terrible! First I tried to talk to the guy keeping us here and just confused both of us more than anything, then Anna had an accident with the sewing machine and now it's broken and I don't know how to bring that up, and now I can't stop thinking about how he's giving us motives.

[dieformymusic]

[Oh man, that is a series of bad luck, isn't it?

Uh...pat pat.

"They would understand if it's broken.

I don't think the ones in charge will be of any help. We just need to focus on working together to escape."]

[rockthistown]

I'm trying. Have you found anything yet?

[dieformymusic]

[Hesitation.

"Only that we get items from the merchandise booth in the lobby."]

[rockthistown]

Not much of it is good, though.

[dieformymusic]

["We might be able to use it. We just need to think."]

[rockthistown]

Do you mean that something important could be inside?

[dieformymusic]

["Something they're hiding."]

[rockthistown]

I don't know how we could get it out if they choose what comes out, but I can keep trying at the booth.

["You mean asking the Balladeer to help?"

They should probably be careful with wording...

"As long as we keep trying we should get something."]

He probably can't help anyway. I'd settle for no more creepy pie. I didn't get any, but it's just weird that something fresh would come out after being in there for a week.
