No Backward Glances

Today is the day of the promised grand finale. And, strangely, nothing about the Opera seems especially different this morning. The theatre doors remain locked. There's no smell of blood in the air, no trashed rooms, and no dead bodies to find. In the lobbies, the crystal chandeliers are still in their places, not swung about by any mysterious force.

But there's little things. It may take a while to notice, but the lock on one of the doors in the second floor lobby - the one leading to Boxes 5 through 8 - is missing. Should anyone try it, it opens easily and without a sound.

Meanwhile, down on the first floor, the graffiti on the box office walls has once again been cleaned up. In the process, it seems, the box office door was left slightly ajar.

[Seymour was just about to go to the garden to give one last goodbye. However, he couldn't help but notice that the locked door was just... suddenly missing a lock.

Eh, the garden isn't that important. Audrey would have preferred him to find a way out of here rather than mope about her death.]

Hey, I think this door is open now?

[Before he really waits for a response, he pushes the door open and takes peek inside of it. Surely it can't be anything bad, right?

[...Seymour, are you seriously just going to go in there without-

you know what, if you want to take one for the team here you be his guest, actually, he'll be in the general vicinity but if you want to find the death traps that may be in there that'd be swell]

[Look, he's already dead! What's the worst that could happen?]

[Good news, nothing exploded! Bad news is it's dark in there.]

[Well at least Seymour didn't instantly Bad End the game but wow, that's dark.

He turns around towards the other people.]

Um, does anyone have a light?

The door is open?

[Raoul had been passing by on his way to the tea room, but Seymour's observation had caught his attention - not to mention the fact that he recognizes, after a moment, that the door leads to theater boxes.

I shall watch the performance from my normal seat in Box 5, which will be kept empty for me.]

- Seymour! Hold on, let me join you!

[He waves at Raoul.]

Oh, Raoul. It... probably is a good idea that I don't go alone, in case something happens.

[This morning, Billy is wearing a couple of handmade swag bags with little red and green cadeuceus on them. One of them seems heavier than the other one, so that's the one hanging over his right shoulder. His goggles are perched on top of his head and the other bag has black safety gloves sticking out of it.

And he's gonna beeline straight for that box office door.]

There's a hidden door in the box office.

[ A weird Friday with no immediate sign of murder? Hans was already heading to the Box Office for his morning mope/psyche up. (Yeah he's wearing the jacket again.) He doesn't exactly expect to run into Billy there (sad, not the NPH he was hoping for,) but well, there he is. ]

...That doesn't surprise me. He probably got around backstage through there.

[ Time to have a look inside. ]

[The box office appears to have been completely cleaned out. The Balladeer's instruments are gone, as is everything that was on his desk. Should you check the drawers, you'll find that those are empty too.

But the shelves are still here, Billy, so you should still be good.]

ROOM #2

Alright, split up or come with, just... try to stay with somebody.

[Meanwhile he's going to try that first door on the left.

...And he's still got his blow torch so he's not taking no for an answer here.]

[Luckily for everyone's eardrums, the blowtorch isn't needed. The door is unlocked.

This room contains one bunkbed and one single. There's also a wardrobe, but the room is too small to fit any other furniture.]

[...He remembers the guy who rolled out from underneath the bathroom stall, he's going to check under the beds on his way over to the wardrobe.]

ROOM #3

[These rooms look a little small for everyone to be up in them, so!]

I'm going to check this one, someone want to come with me?

I'm coming! I hope we don't find anything totally gross.

ROOM 4

[ALRIGHT it's all Heather this time.

Meaning she stands infront of the door for too long, giving nervous glances to those behind her, before suddenly flinging the door open.

Please don't let there be anything horrifying inside.]

Room 5

[Seeing as room 6 is being covered by two people Sorry Billy and she doesn't want to get in the way, Anna heads into the room no one else picked. Alone. Please no ghosts.

Team Lone Wanderer is a go.

What will she notice upon entering?

[This bedroom is larger and nicer than the rest - look, it's got its own bathroom attached! There's only one bed, and along with the normal wardrobe it's also got a full-length mirror.

Next to the mirror is a dummy wearing a set of well-polished armor.]
