WEEK 4
[Another week has passed in the opera house and things are looking grim as ever. With Gabe and Hime gone, the performers are down to 16 of them.

On Monday, the opera house is still heavily decorated with a few new additions. There are more cottony cobwebs, a few small ghosts hanging from the ceiling made of cheesecloth, even more pumpkins here and there. A few more candy bowls have been set out in places like the dining room and a few others and only a few of them are only filled with candy corn. In the dressing rooms the stars on Gabe and Hime's doors have fallen off, leaving behind a patch of star-shaped wood slightly lighter than the rest of the doors on Hime's and a different star underneath on Gabe's.

Like the previous week, the door on in the second floor lobby is unlocked and a new floor is ready to be explored. Have a good week, everyone.]

[Somehow, that sounds like a compliment?

She thinks about Anna's question, and then shakes her head.]

Nope. Not really hungry, but thanks.

[Is that a good thing or bad thing?

She nods with a small smile.]

Well, when you are, I'll be dropping the things I made off into the kitchen!

Cool.

[She hesitates for a moment, but...]

Look, I know you're trying to make sure I'm okay, so I'll make it a little easier. I'm fine.

[sunshineprincess]

[She waits to let Natalie finish before nodding.]

I know you're not okay okay, but knowing you're even a little okay is good. [She really wants to ask about Natalie and being friends... but that seems like too much right now.] Do you know how to make cookies without burning them?

[robitussin]

Actually, I am okay okay, but thanks.

[She nods.]

Yeah, I do. Want some pointers?

[sunshineprincess]

[Natalie. Your brother and one of your good friends is dead. There is no way you're okay okay. Anna won't press her on it.]

Right... Sure! I miss the chocolate cookies from back home. I was wondering if there was a way to make them here.

[robitussin]

[Everything is fine and she is handling this well by not admitting there's a problem, clearly.]

It shouldn't be that tough to figure out. You wanna head that way?

[sunshineprincess]

[And you chewed out Anna for being like that.]

Okay. Follow me then.

[Oh my gosh she's the one leading the way again. It's been a while.]

[robitussin]

Sure.

[She gets up, putting her books aside for now. To the kitchen they go!]

[sunshineprincess]

[At least the kitchen isn't a mess. Boy howdy, the bakery sure is.]

So chocolate cookies. We need ingredients!

[robitussin]

Yeah. Eggs, flour, butter, sugar, cocoa, vanilla... Probably baking powder or baking soda?

[sunshineprincess]

... I don't know what those last two are, but it sounds good to me.

[robitussin]

They're...

[A pause.]

Actually, I have no idea how to describe them. Anyways.

[sunshineprincess]

They have the word baking in them... so they're important. Right?

[robitussin]

Right. I think one of them helps it rise, or something?

[She picks up a few of the items they'll need.]

[sunshineprincess]

[She looks for chocolate. Because that's the plan.]

I don't know if Cook uses things like that. Maybe?

[robitussin]

...Is your cook literally named Cook?

[A small laugh.]

[sunshineprincess]

That's what my family has always called him... Maybe I should ask him what his actual name is when I go home.

[robitussin]

Yeah. I'd be kind of annoyed if everyone just called me Pianist or Student or something.
