WEEK 4
[Another week has passed in the opera house and things are looking grim as ever. With Gabe and Hime gone, the performers are down to 16 of them.

On Monday, the opera house is still heavily decorated with a few new additions. There are more cottony cobwebs, a few small ghosts hanging from the ceiling made of cheesecloth, even more pumpkins here and there. A few more candy bowls have been set out in places like the dining room and a few others and only a few of them are only filled with candy corn. In the dressing rooms the stars on Gabe and Hime's doors have fallen off, leaving behind a patch of star-shaped wood slightly lighter than the rest of the doors on Hime's and a different star underneath on Gabe's.

Like the previous week, the door on in the second floor lobby is unlocked and a new floor is ready to be explored. Have a good week, everyone.]

[Eliza finally emerges from her room for the motive. She hasn't bothered to change out of her nightgown but she did find a somewhat frilly black robe to throw on over it. She listens to the song impassively, watching the Balladeer with a tired, empty expression until he finishes and disappears.

Once it's done she doesn't join in the chorus of "this is stupid"s and instead turns and walks back to lock herself back in her room.]

That it is! It's not an exact match, I'm afraid, but it's as close as I can get with this medium!

[He'd probably do a better job with paint or pencils or... anything else, really. But carving pumpkins is different, so here we are.]

[There's no immediate answer but after a minute the door opens slightly and Eliza leans heavily against the door frame. She's still in her nightgown and her hair is a sleep-tangled mess.]

They came out of the merchandise booth. While some of them are rather ordinary, others...

[He trails off as The Pirate King picks up those boots. Ah, yeah.]

I honestly have no idea what I would ever find myself doing with such a pair of boots.

[The door falls open easily. With the occupant dead, there's no need to keep it locked anymore.]

They don't look very practical. I do like how tall they are, but the heel... and the color...

[He's wearing really tall boots as it is, so naturally he likes thigh-highs. I'm so sorry, Raoul you do not deserve this.]

But! The only way to truly tell if the boot fits is to try it on!

[Apparently you do, Billy, because the laser isn't quite strong enough to break the lock. It was an excellent effort though and good on you for making safety a priority.

She walks in, apprehensively. What is she going to find? The door out? Another dead body? The showrunner, slowly turning in a swivel chair, petting an obscenely fluffy cat?

[There is a folded piece of paper inside one of the board games! It's folded a few times and a smells a little musty but could be something interesting?]

[Really? Huh. Sure, why not, let's open up that musty paper. But with care, because who knows how old it is? It might crumble if you're not careful.]

...You can keep them, if they do indeed fit and are to your liking.

Very well, then! I'll test them out!

[It takes him a little while to figure out how to lace them up properly (since his boots are lace-free) but eventually he's got the bright, glittery kinky boots on and that was a sentence I never wanted to type.]

They do indeed fit! How lucky! They're not all that bad, though the color could certainly stand to be a little less... bright. And glittery. I wonder if I'll shed glitter wherever I walk...

[Speaking of walking, he's actually doing pretty well on those heels? Yikes.]

That's very kind of you but I'm- [She swallows thickly, reaching up to push the hair out of her face. Her eyes are red-rimmed and puffy from crying and really she wants nothing more than to crawl back in bed and stay there for the rest of her life.] I'm fine.

It's certainly possible! I'll take a look around! These are surprisingly well-made boots, despite the glitter. I certainly appreciate it, Raoul!
