Cake is the food that no one has to die for

[...She...she isn't sure what to do. She doesn't get sleep that night. She wanders around, sitting in the tea room, walking the library, trying to figure out what to do with herself. What to do for Natalie. For everyone in general.

Is this how the trials worked? Will they have to deal with another next week? Can she...she condemned Natalie's brother. She'd probably never speak to Astarte again.

This is your fault. Death is more preferable to such shame, isn't it?

As 7 am finally came around, and the kitchen opened, Astarte decides to do something. Hime...had wanted to have cake with everyone. A nobody dying cake. She should try to...try and fulfill that promise.

So, she starts working on a cake, using a recipe from the library's various cookbooks. It won't be as good as Hime's, she knows this. But she has to try. It also isn't going to look great, but...it won't be bad for the taste, right?

Once she's finished, there's a...cake in the dining room, along with some other foodstuffs, and a note that says HELP YOURSELF. There's also Astarte, starting to doze off at the other end of the table, then shaking her head to keep herself awake. Feel free to try and help her stay awake, or not, regardless of what you decide to eat or not eat.]

I hope so. I know things will probably be a bit gloomy otherwise but... it can't hurt to try and be happy, too.

[ He should probably ask her if she's ok but he's got things to get from her first. Like these party plans. ]

It should be in the evening, just like last time. I'm hoping we can get everyone to dress up for the occasion.

[She does know what Halloween is, at least. Samhain, All Hallows Eve, the Day of the Dead. One of the days when Undead are strongest, and able to walk among humans without worry.]

Yes, I read that people like to dress in costumes for Halloween! We have a costume shop and a prop room, so the resources are certainly there.

Heather...! There has to be a way. Even if its just...doing nothing! Not falling for the...the manager's attempts!

I haven't decided yet. I know Anna's mad at me, so I don't want to accidentally match with her.

Plus, I'm worried about offending the others. If I dressed up as a pirate, well-- we've got two of those here. And I can't be a demon, Miss Jezebel would probably find that in poor taste.

[And thus she;s brought to room 7. Its...surprisingly sparse, save for the trash clothing she has on her clothing rack. There is a pile of items - no doubt obtained from the booth - and a black and white dress, a black scarf folded neatly on top, on the vanity table. There is also the book she was reading, opened up to over halfway, a sign of how far she got into it.]

Ah, here we are.

[The room... somehow looks worse than Anna's. At least her room has a poster of an attractive guy on the wall even if she didn't know who it was. (Zac Efron, everyone.)]

[They haven't talked much but Eliza is in Hella Mom Mode and just wants to make sure everyone is okay. Making sure they're okay includes tea and cake.

She comes back a few minutes later with two steaming mugs and a bowl of sugar cubes tucked under her arm.]

I hope chamomile is alright. We don't have a very large assortment in the cabinets.
