Week Six

[Last week, in It's Curtains, the weather changed, and with it your fortune in Dads. Discord took Salieri out - or perhaps Salieri took Discord out - and left the survivors with that much less impulse control. Nonetheless, a visit from a new friend might have provided a little bit of much-needed hope?

On Sunday morning, you'll find that the other side of the second floor has opened up - as well as the actual intended path to reach the roof garden. You can finally stop climbing up that rope every time you want to have a picnic or secret lover's rendezvous!

Outside, the weather seems to have calmed down. It's sunny again, with rather a lot of clouds. Though it's warm, the atmosphere seems very...still.]

Cooking is usually a good thing to do for people! I can show you how to make a few things, or maybe Spongebob would teach you!

[ He finishes another flower and sets it aside. ]

Or maybe she'd like these, too. Do you know if she has a favorite flower?

I haven't asked her. But I think something red would suit her well... something that would stand out, yet compliment her hair and skin.

Well, roses are a classic for a reason. The real ones are a little fussy? But if you're working with paper ones then that's no problem.

[ He'll take another sheet of bright red paper and flip to another page in the book, this one with instructions on how to fold roses. ]

These are a little more complicated, and I don't think I'm very good at them yet? But I'm sure we can figure them out together.

[It's easy to follow along, in theory; Elsa's got an eye and a knack for patterns and angles, but there's a big difference between using her magic to make something and using only her hands. Her rose comes out a bit sloppier than the lily, but it's still... decent to look at!]

Well, you're better than me, at least. [She laughs, holding her attempt up.] I'll absolutely keep at it, though... even putting aside wanting to make something nice for Cass, this is surprisingly relaxing.

[ Orpheus laughs a little. ]

I've just been doing this for most of the day. It gets easier with practice! And it is really soothing. I sort of lost track of time doing it. [ he says, looking up at the clock, before shrugging. Not like he has anywhere else to be, and if he wants to do what he has planned for these he's going to need a lot more of them anyway. ] I'm sure you'll be an expert in no time.

[Elsa looks from him, to the pile of completed flowers, then back to Orpheus. She laughs.]

I'm not surprised at all. At the rate you're going, you might be able to fill a whole field in a few days.

That's the idea! [ He beams. ] If you see Eurydice, try not to tell her what I'm up to. This is supposed to be a surprise for her.
