[Last week, Gershwin High School Academy University saw its very first intentional murder! What a milestone! And right after Spongebob's No Murder party, too - that doesn't seem like it bodes very well for anybody's future.

You all wake up this morning with yet another new memory returned to you. You'll also find that the school's external doors have now unlocked. Congratulations! You're free! Unfortunately, you also seem to be entirely in the middle of nowhere. So maybe it's more of a symbolic victory.

Still, you should look around and do some investigation! Maybe you'll find a fun surprise.]

[ Eurydice surveys the available weights. Boy, lots of these look heavy. Eurydice stands at 5'2" and does not have a ton of meat on her bones, but she's gonna try her best!! ]

[Maya is a light sleeper by default. That, coupled with the rough night she's had and the fact that it's close to the time she gets up anyway, has Maya stirring from her slumber.]

[Salieri pauses halfway into gently tucking the blanket around her shoulders--before he just decides to continue doing that. He was already caught anyway.]

Just making sure you were warm enough. [whispered quietly, but gently] I didn't mean to wake you; I'm on my way out.

Why? [She’s testing him—- she’s absolutely testing him on purpose. Then the gun in her hands makes a click (blissfully, the unloaded one) and she all but throws it back into the pile.]

Because guns make me uncomfortable. As does that notebook. [dryly]

It's okay. It's not like I told you everything right away this week either. Sometimes you need time to process or whatever.

We were told not to speak of it, on the grounds of disqualification.

That's why the execution bothered me so much. The fact that there was a giraffe present... It is probably only coincidence but --

[It's a two person job anyway, since the table has a bunch of trinkets on it now left behind for each of those that have passed.]

Varian is immediately going to make a beeline for the tree, in that case. What kind of marks are we looking at, here...should he be concerned...]

The notebook’s actually fake, though. Hester told me. [And she whips out her own death note, which—- boy howdy. Those are a lot of death wishes, very neatly written to save space, even. Several double sided ones for Chess, the single, crossed out line for poor Clark, and the several double sided pages written for Riley. She sits down at the table, watching him carefully.]

[The comfort is nice. She tucks herself further into the blankets on instinct, but then pauses.]

Is everything alright?

[Somewhere, distantly, a lone woman is investigating a gymnasium.

She glances up from her work and returns one, silent nod. Back to work.]
