[One week out from the first deaths in this place, now. When you wake up on Friday morning, everything seems pretty quiet. There's nothing immediately, obviously amiss when you leave your dorms - and if maybe not everybody is in their beds at the moment, well, that's not so strange, is it? Maybe the No Murder party worked! Nobody wants to shatter Spongebob's poor little heart, right?

[ well. looks like it's time for Orpheus to touch a dead body again. How do things look at a glance? ]

[At first glance, it doesn't seem like there was any struggle here. Connor's just sort of laid out on the bench.]

[ Anything noticeable about his hands or neck or face (or any other exposed skin)? Bruises, scrapes, marks, anything like that? ]

[There's only one real injury to note here. Connor's wrists have been slashed.]

[ Orpheus reels back, clapping a hand over his mouth. It takes him a moment to recover, but he'll swallow down the shock and fear and take another look.

How much blood is there? On his clothes, and around the wounds. If there is any, how fresh does it look? Still bleeding, wet, dry? ]

[There is not really much blood on his clothes. There's also not a ton in the general vicinity.]

[ That definitely means something. Orpheus will whisper a quick, ] I'm sorry, Connor. [ before going through his pockets. Anything of note? ]

[Nothing much in his pockets! But there's a knife on the ground here, as if it fell from his hand.]

[ Orpheus isn't going to pick that up - he's read One Entire Crime Novel he knows things about fingerprints - but he'll crouch down next to it and take a look. What sort of knife is it? Kitchen, pocket, etc? Does it still have blood on it? ]

[This is a paring knife! There is still blood on it.]

[ Right. Orpheus will take one last look over Connor's body before moving on. Is what he's wearing notable, is there blood on the bottoms of his shoes/feet, is he at all damp like he's been washed up, is there anything under him like how Mumble's head was propped up on some fabric or was he just dumped on the bench?

When that's all settled, he'll pull a pair of coins out of his pocket and lay them over Connor's eyes. ]

[There's nothing under his head like what was done for Mumble, but there is one similarity - his hair's damp.]

[ Time to check the sinks and showers, then! Signs of recent use or traces of blood? ]

[Yes, actually! Judging from the remaining traces of water, you can tell that one of the showers has been recently used!]

[ Okay! Orpheus is going to look in the laundry hamper or wherever they're supposed to deposit used towels as well as just, around the general area for signs of something out of the ordinary. ]

[There are two used towels in the hamper! They are both damp, with water and not blood.]
