Your second Friday in the gilded cage that is the Opera House feels very much like the one before. The only real exception is that today is the deadline for the Phantom’s offer, to erase a single person from existence in exchange for one of their lives. The morning is quiet as you all filter out of your rooms with no immediate signs that anyone’s taken your house manager up on his offer.

That is, except for the very small, dark stains on the carpet of the dressing room hallway but that’s probably unrelated.

[There's only one line of the stains and it looks like they run between Room 20 and the lobby.]

[The Phantom's voice echoes through the opera house, from...wherever he may currently be hiding? The sound seems to come from everywhere, so it's a bit unclear. Either way, he sounds....maybe faintly amused? Rip to Christiiiiine.]

Jonny D'ville, the First Mate, is dead. You will have a short period of investigation, before you will move to the theatre proper for the trial.

[ Santana dips back into her room to grab her slightly-less-bloody-knife (she tried to wash it, thanks, but some of those stains just don't come out!) and then slips past some of the commotion into Jonny's room. She's been in more or less of a paranoia-mixed-with-investigation type mood since yesterday, and wants to see if she can find any signs of a struggle.

She'll start examining the bed, first. ]
