[Time to shut up? Time to shut up. He nods mutely, trying to impress that he does get it. Really. Honest.

The fact that it still hurts doesn't mean anything.

Stephen...takes those hands, just letting his rest in them for a moment before shifting to swing his legs off the bed - taking care not to hit Ariel, of course - and start to get to his feet]

Stephen? [He starts to rise as well, one hand dropping from Stephen's grasp to rest upon the small of his back. He's not convinced that his companion won't outright collapse on him.]
