[The Opera House is quiet on Friday, just as it was quiet last Friday. There's no immediate smell of blood the air and most everyone was pretty blase about the motive earlier in the week this might just be a deathless week.

The only way to know for sure is to investigate.]

[Oh gross. Couldn't someone have left something nice here?

He examines the leftover cookie. Is the smell from being poorly baked or something else?]

[The remnants of the cookie actually look fairly appetizing, despite the smell. It'd be hard to discern exactly why it smells with so little of it left, however.]

[Despite everything in his brain telling him this is a bad idea, way too much of him is tempted to taste test it to figure out what the heck is going on with this.

Honestly, the biggest reason why he doesn't is the fact that food is still a very touchy subject with him.

So he's going to get up and see if there's possibly a whole cookie somewhere to be examined.]

[There also seems to be a rather strong odor coming from the trash can.]

[Of course it's the trash can.

Okay, what's in it?]

[The topmost thing in the trashcan is an upside-down plate. Beneath it seem to be a number of whole cookies. Congrats, Seymour, you did it.]

[Yay he did something.

Well if the grossest thing down there is some cookies, he doesn't have much issue grabbing one out and examining it closer.]

[It's a little crumbled but it's sure a whole frosted sugar cookie just like the one on the floor. It has the same foul odor as the other one, something garlicky.]

[So either someone decided that it was a good idea to just put garlic on cookies or something is seriously off.

... Although he can't help but wonder why anyone would eat this if it smelled so off.

He finds a bag to put it in to show everyone else later. And looks around some more. Anything he might be missing?]

[Beneath the cookies and plate, there is something else in the trash can.]

[Please let it be something not gross.

Okay, what is it?]

[Relax, sweetheart, it's just a container of icing.]

[Look after all of this investigation it can't hurt to be cautious.

Well, he's just going to open the container in that case. Is this where the garlicky smell is coming from?]

[That sure is some pretty garlicky-smelling icing. It's the same color as that on the cookies.]

[So that explains that. This is definitely going to be something he'll take to the trial.

Seymour does one last look around of the scene. Anything he could have missed?]
