[The Opera House is quiet on Friday, just as it was quiet last Friday. There's no immediate smell of blood the air and most everyone was pretty blase about the motive earlier in the week this might just be a deathless week.

The only way to know for sure is to investigate.]

[There's nothing immediately out of place in the laundry room - no blood on the ground or anything like that.

But someone does appear to have left something inside one of the washers.]

Alright is the washer running or is whatever it is just sitting in there]

[The washer is not running.]

[Cool gonna just. Uh. Open it?]

[Opening the door doesn't cause anything to fall out, at least. The body inside is small enough to fit easily within the washer. Her hair is still dry and in neat ringlets; she looks as though someone simply placed her inside and shut the door behind her. But she doesn't respond to the intrusion, and she's not breathing.

Darla Dimple is dead.]

[Billy staggers back a few steps, shoulders hitting the door. The scream bubbles out of him starting with a few aborted, strangled whimpers.

And then it comes out as a long, blood-curdling scream.]
