WEEK 4
[Another week has passed in the opera house and things are looking grim as ever. With Gabe and Hime gone, the performers are down to 16 of them.

On Monday, the opera house is still heavily decorated with a few new additions. There are more cottony cobwebs, a few small ghosts hanging from the ceiling made of cheesecloth, even more pumpkins here and there. A few more candy bowls have been set out in places like the dining room and a few others and only a few of them are only filled with candy corn. In the dressing rooms the stars on Gabe and Hime's doors have fallen off, leaving behind a patch of star-shaped wood slightly lighter than the rest of the doors on Hime's and a different star underneath on Gabe's.

Like the previous week, the door on in the second floor lobby is unlocked and a new floor is ready to be explored. Have a good week, everyone.]

[Raoul's been a busy man in the kitchen this week, and he's taken pride in every one of his unusual creations. Why? Because, in a small way, it makes him feel like he's doing something good, that he's contributing. That he's not useless in this opera house or to anyone here. Truthfully, he loathed the idea of being unable to help those of his friends who had died and being cut off from Christine when she was in such strange circumstances, but at least - at least if he could make something to share with the others, it could help them all a little bit.

When he comes into the kitchen and sees Eliza, he clears his throat and ducks his head respectfully.] Good afternoon to you, Madame Hamilton. What might you be up to today?

Hello, Natalie. [She looks up from her work with a small and tired but genuine smile.] I found some quilting material in the costume room with the sewing supplies so I thought I'd make something. [She holds up the patch she's working on. It's not even close to done but it's clearly in the shape of a candlestick.]

Because he's thirteenth in line for a throne he'll never have?

Looks good so far. What's the rest of it going to be eventually?

[... Sorry, Astarte, but Anna thinks you are having something close to a crisis right now yelling at an amulet.]

Good afternoon, monsieur. [She sets down her rolling pin and quickly wipes her hands on her apron, curtsying politely.] I went upstairs to the bakery for the first time today and I found so many things I just had to try baking something.

[If she wants to be more honest creating something is the best kind of distraction from her own gloom she can think of.]

I woke up with that memory... and seeing as he admitted to trying to take over kingdom before I even had it... [She sighs.] I remember every single word he said to me before he locked me in that room to freeze to death.

I'm not sure yet. I wanted to make a match for those we've lost but that would be a thankfully small quilt. So I think I might make one for each of us. Twenty patches should be enough if I make them big enough.

[He examines the note carefully, studying it for a long moment before offering it back to Raoul.]

I'm afraid I won't be of much help there. I don't recognize it. It's very odd that it was found here, though... Perhaps one of the others may recognize it?

[It was much messier back home. Not that she remembers that.

She jumps, looking over at Billy. When did he show up?]

Oh. Yes! How can I help?

[Natalie. Your brother and one of your good friends is dead. There is no way you're okay okay. Anna won't press her on it.]

Right... Sure! I miss the chocolate cookies from back home. I was wondering if there was a way to make them here.

[She does take a seat next to her, frowning.]

Were you okay? After the whole... You know, freezing thing you mentioned.

Yes, but I'm still worried about you. If you need it, I'm here to listen, okay?

[Ugh. Feelings.]

What are you thinking of using for each of us?

I must have been. I'm not freezing here unless-

[Her face falls.] What if I'm dead? Back home?

[Everything is fine and she is handling this well by not admitting there's a problem, clearly.]

It shouldn't be that tough to figure out. You wanna head that way?
