[It's a pleasant afternoon in the garden. Maybe not emotionally, but physically - isn't it nice when you get to have class outside?

As your voices rise, singing defiance in unison out for the Wizard, there's no immediate response; at least, nothing that clearly is a response. But there's something. Amidst the sound of your song, it may be hard to hear at first; Janis will likely be the first to notice, but eventually everyone is able to hear. It sounds as though other voices are rising along with yours.

There's something on the air - no music, or at least no instrumentals, just a disembodied sort of lyrical chant. You don't recognize any of the voices. They aren't singing the same song as you all are. Maybe they can't; they sound long long ago, and far far away now. Still - despite everything - the trees around you move lightly in a sudden soft breeze. It feels as though you have invoked something, old and entirely beyond your knowledge.

But first. Haven't you forgotten something?

Sigyn! We are all here! [Don't worry about the blood and dirt.]

[Her previously stern face breaks into a relieved smile.]

Angus! [She rushes over and pulls him into a hug and it is not apparent that she's a couple of inches taller than him.]

We were so worried! You didn't come to Richard's, when we contacted Ralathor, he said you disappeared days ago.

[Sigyn gets a tight, muscly hug back - a bit uncomfortable when he's got a ribbon-accented breastplate on, but he missed you so much. It's rough, realizing that he forgot his space traveling friend for nearly two months.][Ralathor must be worried sick. He's going to invite him to the liminal Denny's as an apology-]

Oh, but I have great news! [He pulls back and shows off his left hand marked by a small ring.]

[She'll take it, her tactile vest is actually pretty good at cushioning that sort of thing.

She gasps at the ring.]

By the Norns! When did that happen?

Just now! And a few days ago. Today's the first time we asked in the same moment. [So like 4 proposals in total.] Tell everyone that we are having a wedding!

[CHEERING FROM THE CHEERLEADER]

[She looks around them.]

Right now? Don't you want to get out of here first?

Also, do we get to meet them first, or is it going to be a surprise?

[He does the Will Smith pose with a flourish of the cape and hand at a blonde woman dressed in pink and wearing a giant engagement ring.]

Meet Elle Woods, lawyer-in-training! There'll be more weddings, of course, one for each universe, but why not make it official now before we must part ways?

[Sigyn and Elle exchange introductions before Elle bounces away to talk to someone else.]

She seems perfect for you.

She is...

[A dreamy sigh. It's a match made in the heavens.]

I don't know how I could have made it so long without her by side.

Oh man, you got it bad.

[Sigyn grins and claps him on the shoulder.]

She seems amazing. Studying to be a lawyer, you said? That's a hard profession, I hope you're ready to support her through that.

Well-

Not that I understand every law and every detail of my own country's legal system, but if she needs help studying, I'm still there. [And learning goes easier with someone to explain things to.] Do you think she'd be fine if I lived there for a few days? Or would it be too much of a distraction?

Not sure, but if you want to be close, you know the penthouse is always open to you. Both of you, if you need it.

[Sigyn gives him a light punch on the shoulder.]

You treat her right, you hear? She seems like an amazing woman who's going places.

Oh, don't you worry about that. I swear I will never let her fall when she is in danger, nor will I abandon her when she makes mistakes. Is a husband not someone who stands by his wife through sickness and poor times?

[His favorite person. Perfect no matter what happens.]

Okay, but what if she starts crying because she dropped a piece of toast after a stressful day? Or chews her gum really loudly?

[Sigyn has no doubt Angus' will do his best, but there's some things you just never think of before getting married.]

First off, being a lawyer is stressful. I have know that from the start, and that is nothing that a good hug [among other things] can't fix. All of her tears will be my enemy.

[And anyone who makes her cry is going to suffer. Elle has suffered enough.]

Second...would she chew gum all the time? We'll be living apart from each other for months out of the year.

Maybe not all the time, but that's not the point. Remember there are going to be times where being together is hard. You need to think of something to remind you how much you love her during those times.

[Well, Sigyn is the married one here. Angus can't think of something annoying Elle could do - spend too much time getting ready in the morning? He hasn't been around her long enough to see the worst of her, if murder school hasn't done so already.]

So what do you do? It sounds like Loki has habits even you can't love.

That's the thing. You don't love them because of their actions, you love who they are. I don't love it when Loki forgets she has gunk all over her and treks it around the house, but I will always love her.

[Sigyn claps a hand on his shoulder.]

You're a good man, Angus, you're going to be just fine. I just don't want you to give up on a good thing because it isn't sunshine and rainbows all the time.

[He thinks back to the last week. Elle gone, a request to move on.]

I won't. I'll stand by her, through the difficult times.
