What a night last night was! Dancing under the stars, romance, family...all the things a good school dance should stand for. Even with everyone being sick it could still, overall, be considered a hige success.

But on the subject of the sickness thats spread through the school...when people start to rouse from their dance-fuled exhaustion in the morning all the symptoms seem to be completely gone. Which should be good news but knowing what day it is.

That can't be.

[With shaky steps, he makes his way next to her. Beside her lies Orpheus, his friend, the man who he spoke to each week when friends died. The man who understood him and shared his own past with. A man he promised he would work with to bring everyone back.

Angus falls onto his knees and takes hold of Elle's hands, holding them gently as if they were simply in the garden again, talking among the flowers.]

She was just alive last night! She can't be dead! [But she is, and he'll never speak with her again. He can never comfort her again. They'll never travel to Malibu, she'll never see a dragon, and now she's a bloody corpse and--

[Spongebob stands there, crying softly, but more worried about Angus than anyone else. That was his girlfriend.

Slowly, he takes a breath and looks at Angus, with determination.]

Angus, I... I promise I’ll bring her back. Bring everyone back. I-I don’t care if it takes me the rest of my life, I’ll do it!

[Truthfully he has nothing to back that up. He doesn’t know the first thing about reviving the dead, but Nana said it has been done. Sure, she said it would be harder here, but it was a spark of hope.

And by Neptune he is going to nurture this spark of hope.]

[He grips her hands more tightly, shaking them, as if that will be enough to wake her. But she's dead; she can't come back, not without a miracle from the gods. His voice finally breaks-

She has to! These two - they did so much for me, and now this?! This is what they get for being kind and good people?!

[He folds her arms over her body; let her rest peacefully.]
