The sky shines differently today than it did yesterday

[Perhaps to the surprise of no one, there is no after party after that trial. Two children were dead. Two children were dead over a simple accident and the Wizard cared more about himself than anyone else. But they won't give up, they can't give up. They had to keep fighting until everything's been set right.

At the Lobby ofrenda later that night, there are six origami pieces accoupling the other memorials. A penguin, a rose, an octopus man, computer, a music note, and the last one are of a boy and girl holding hands. Along with that there is a plate of strawberry cupcakes with blueberry icing and a note that reads:]

There is still hope and love in the world

[Angus stops his climbing and stands on the side of a wall for a few seconds.

He backs up a few inches, then drops the rest of the distance.

He walks up to Discord, eyes trained entirely on the old man's face, and glares at time.


Then throws a punch at his gut.]

[Honestly, Discord is kind of expecting that with the way Angus just walks up to him, but he doesn't move out of the way. So, that'll connect.

He maybe doubles over a little because oh boy human bodies are all sort of frail, how do mortals live without being able to alter reality on a whim, geez.]

[...But after a bit, he just looks up, looking maybe a little self satisfied.]

[A long, groaning, sigh of satisfaction.]

That felt good. [Discord is an amazing replacement for goblin hordes.] Better you than anyone else.

[But he's not going to help him up and instead head back inside. Discord can feel as satisfied as he wants lying on the pavement.]

[Hi Angus, Salieri is just coming back out into the courtyard with some supplies from the Nurse's Office in his hands, though he slows when he spots Angus first, and then Discord beyond, doubled over.

He sighs, then, an exasperated sound.]

Well. I'm sure he deserved it.

[dryly, as Angus walks past]

Oh, I did.

[Discord's laughing a bit, even as he's wincing and slowly standing up straighter again.]

But you don't have to assume that quickly.
