[Last week, Gershwin High School Academy University saw its very first intentional murder! What a milestone! And right after Spongebob's No Murder party, too - that doesn't seem like it bodes very well for anybody's future.

You all wake up this morning with yet another new memory returned to you. You'll also find that the school's external doors have now unlocked. Congratulations! You're free! Unfortunately, you also seem to be entirely in the middle of nowhere. So maybe it's more of a symbolic victory.

Still, you should look around and do some investigation! Maybe you'll find a fun surprise.]

[he'll step up next to her then to help, picking up a butterknife with amusement to cut into those potatoes. It's not the easiest, but considering their knives situation...speaking of, what is Maya prepping potatoes with?]

[Maya is also using a butter knife. Using her sword was too much, and she isn't in the mood to practice like Cassandra taught her.]

I'm thinking something simple. Toss with melted butter and some spices and then let them bake? What do you think?

I think that would do quite well, in fact. If we have any ham or sausages, tartiflette could be a nice option as well. [he glances sidelong at her, with a little bit of curious amusement]

No sword today? [he recalls her using it at the party, but notes its absence now]

I gave it to Janis. Before... everything happened.

[She seems content to leave it at that but... after a moment, her brow pinches.]

It seemed dangerous to leave it in my hands for the time being.

[I gave it to Janis.

Well, that quiets his amusement. It's...understandable, all things considered, and he isn't going to push--but then Maya speaks up again]

The Wizard has put many of us in a difficult position again, it seems, however...[he frowns, concerned]

...I'm sorry, about your friend. That she's missing.

I will find her.

[At least she sounds determined in that regard.]

I have to. I owe her that much.

[Salieri nods in agreement to that]

I understand.

Would you tell me about her?

Nana?

[A faint smile, though it wobbles.]

If you thought I was working hard to keep us united, you would not know what to even do about her. Everything she does, she does for someone else. She's... incredibly talented, too.

[he notices that faint wobble as he glances at her sidelong, and his expression softens as she explains]

Oh, is she? She must be very busy, then. [he smiles a little] Though...if she's talented enough for you to say so, then I certainly believe it.

You have seen how little time I have for myself? It is even worse with Nana.

Of all of our group, she would deserve something like this the least.
