[Last week, Gershwin High School Academy University saw its very first intentional murder! What a milestone! And right after Spongebob's No Murder party, too - that doesn't seem like it bodes very well for anybody's future.

You all wake up this morning with yet another new memory returned to you. You'll also find that the school's external doors have now unlocked. Congratulations! You're free! Unfortunately, you also seem to be entirely in the middle of nowhere. So maybe it's more of a symbolic victory.

Still, you should look around and do some investigation! Maybe you'll find a fun surprise.]

...yeah. I noticed that too.

[It probably didn't hit him as hard as it did her, but...it seemed far too pointed to just be a coincidence.]

The Wizard might have just been taunting you, since he knows about your situation with the Giraffe. I can't see him passing up an opportunity like that.

I hope that's all it is. It... does not bode well if it means anything else. It... worries me, to say the least.

[Yeah...he can imagine.]

I guess the best thing for it is to try to not think about it, for right now. Being able to go outside like this is...better, at least.

It is. Seeing the sky, breathing in the air...

I didn't realize I had missed it until now.

Yeah...me neither.

[There's a pause after he says that, though.]

It just...feels too easy.

[Her laugh is a little bitter.]

Four people died for us to get this far.

[Varian's teeth grit, a chill rushing down his spine.]

Y...yeah.

[YEAH...]

I guess I mean more like...I'm surprised he's let us outside at all. It's too much freedom, somehow...

[mayavericks]

Perhaps he wanted to give us an inch, before we took a mile?

[A beat.]

Besides, how can it truly be freedom if there is no means to truly escape?

It can't be. It's taunting us...showing us what we could have, but never will if he has anything to say about it.

[Varian pushes his hands hard into his pockets.]

It does make me wonder...how much more of this place there even is. It's been four weeks...it feels like he's going to run out of stuff at some point.

He is a wonderful wizard, after all. Perhaps he can simply magic more rooms into existence?

[Which is a very unpleasant thought, thank you.]

Eugh...I hadn't thought of that.

[The idea of an infinite school of infinite rooms and infinite possibilities makes his stomach hurt.]

I'd honestly rather he just...do something with us before things went that far.
