[Last week, Gershwin High School Academy University saw its very first intentional murder! What a milestone! And right after Spongebob's No Murder party, too - that doesn't seem like it bodes very well for anybody's future.

You all wake up this morning with yet another new memory returned to you. You'll also find that the school's external doors have now unlocked. Congratulations! You're free! Unfortunately, you also seem to be entirely in the middle of nowhere. So maybe it's more of a symbolic victory.

Still, you should look around and do some investigation! Maybe you'll find a fun surprise.]

Dark colors can be impressive. The commander of the resistant army wears all black. With silver and gold.

Oh totally! I just never liked wearing them all that much.

Green is totally your color! It really brings out your eyes.

Green is our national color, but I never thought of it like that. [...] I could use more sets of outfits.

We can totally do that! I helped Balladeer pick out some new clothes from the costume shop. I'm sure there's something in there you'd like too.

If no, I can always try my hand at men's wear!

I got come clothes from the machine. Some sort of pajamas made of cheap materials. Would that be of any use?

Maybe? There's some pretty good materials in the costume shop, we can probably find something there.

[Elle turns so their sitting shoulder to shoulder, leaning on Angus.]

Hey, can I ask you a kinda personal question?

Well, of course. There is no one else around.

Do you have anyone you're...you know...seeing back home?

...No.

Not for a while. And I’ve been too busy saving my current home dimension to date anyone.

[A smile.] But at least we aren’t in an urgent situation this time.

Good. I mean not good about the fighting, but, I mean-ugh. [Elle turns and places a quick peck on Angus' cheek.]

[He rubs the kissed cheek. It's warm.]

Oh, of course. I don't want to take you away from your training. [It's cooler to have a princess with powerful abilities than to have a princess who could not complete her learning. If she wants to be a princess, of course. And if the court is fine with her. And if she likes it in Fife.]

I'll have to introduce you to my friends, and take you on a ride around the kingdom. I could ask Ralathor for a flying submarine ride, unless you're fine with clinging onto a jetpack.

[Wow its...weird to have a partner that actually cares about her goals? She knows Warner never really took her degree seriously, but it never bothered her. At least until she had something to compare it to.]

Well, I've never used either, but I think a jetpack might be a little too intense for me.

Oh! You can come see Malibu! We can go surfing, maybe go to Disney! [Not as cool as a jetpack or a flying submarine, but still fun!]

[Where in the pits of hell is Disney?]

Malibu? It must be quite different from the Malibu in my universe! [There's probably more dragons and fae living there.] What is it known for?

I have a feeling there's a lot of things that are different in my universe.

It's mostly known as a nice beach-side town. Lots of good shopping and restaurants, nice relaxing beaches, stuff like that.

[mcfife]

It's close to my Malibu, but what of the mermaids?

[Everyone has to be careful of them!]

No mermaids as far as I know. [But who knows? Maybe she's just never seen one.]

[mcfife]

...So you have less dangerous mermaids, or they live elsewhere. [That's good?] They are quite dangerous creatures, not like unicorns with their raw power. It's the downside of being intelligent creatures like humans.

[whatyouwant]

Wait, are unicorns dangerous? I thought they were all magic and goodness and stuff.

[mcfife]

If you screw them over, they are dangerous. They do live for justice, but if corrupted, they use their magic for evil.

[Which has happened many times regarding a certain wizard whose name starts with "Z".]

Just because they are good does not mean they won't strike you with lasers if you intend to do them harm.

[Okay, all this makes sense, unicorns good, but can be corrupted and-

Wait, did he say lasers?]

Lasers? Like robots?

Like magic lasers. There's a difference. Unicorns shoot them from their eyes or horn. Robots shoot them from their guns.

What if they were robot unicorns?

Ralathor built some! They use magical guns so it looks like they're shot from the horn.
