[Last week, Gershwin High School Academy University saw its very first intentional murder! What a milestone! And right after Spongebob's No Murder party, too - that doesn't seem like it bodes very well for anybody's future.

You all wake up this morning with yet another new memory returned to you. You'll also find that the school's external doors have now unlocked. Congratulations! You're free! Unfortunately, you also seem to be entirely in the middle of nowhere. So maybe it's more of a symbolic victory.

Still, you should look around and do some investigation! Maybe you'll find a fun surprise.]

Hey! [Farrah shouts from a nearby doorway, finding Per looking at a very familiar phone.]

Where did you get that?!

[ Peregrine looks up with a start, from the phone where, on the screen, Farrah had just taken an incredible fall. ]

Uh— just the vending machine! [ Back. Back out, back out of it— ]

[She can hear the crowd laughing. It’s terrible—- it takes her several seconds to realize she’s not just remembering it, but that the laughter is coming from the phone. Farrah reaches to try and wrench the phone away from Peregrine, her face a mixture of shame and fury.]

Give it to me!

[ Even when they're disagreeing over something, Farrah never sounds this...heated. There's something different about it, and it means Peregrine doesn't even try to hold onto the phone. ]

I'm sorry! I didn't— I didn't even realize—

[Farrah tears the phone away from her—- she doesn’t apologize, or try and tell Peregrine it’s okay, she just stares at the phone herself. She rewinds it a bit, to watch Chess’ movements, to see exactly where the other girl fucked up— and then to watch herself fall. To listen to the crowd laughing again.

Her cheeks are scarlet when she locks the phone and jams it into her pocket.]

Congrats, now you’re one of several million people who have seen Epic Cheerleader Fail.

[ This is awful. Peregrine winces when Farrah rewinds, she stammers. ]

I just... I was just trying to figure out...who it belonged to...

I get it. It’s not your fault, or whatever. [She groans, keeping her eyes averted from Peregrine.]

It’s nothing that other people haven’t seen before. Janis has seen it, and Connor— [Her voice catches. Connor hadn’t watched it. She loves him for it.] Connor knew about it.

It still sucks. That’s what everyone…was laughing at? It’s not funny. It’s… it’s just cruel.

It looks funny, I guess. Less funny, when you’re the girl who gets dropped. [Farrah pulls the phone back out, watches again, and snarls.]

I forgot Riley was in this fucking thing.

[ Riley? ...Her captain. The girl who— ]

Hey... Maybe...you should just put that thing away, right? It can't be good to just keep watching it.
