[Last week, Gershwin High School Academy University saw its very first intentional murder! What a milestone! And right after Spongebob's No Murder party, too - that doesn't seem like it bodes very well for anybody's future.

You all wake up this morning with yet another new memory returned to you. You'll also find that the school's external doors have now unlocked. Congratulations! You're free! Unfortunately, you also seem to be entirely in the middle of nowhere. So maybe it's more of a symbolic victory.

Still, you should look around and do some investigation! Maybe you'll find a fun surprise.]

I... had a bad dream. I ran out of the school, because - oh, I don't know, the door was open - and I ended up tripping out here.

...yeah. One of those days, isn't it.

[He didn't run out. He walked, and kept walking, until he couldn't find his way back. But it was sort of the same thing.]

Do you...want to talk about it?

Well, even if I did, I don't know where I'd start. My memory is all fuzzy.

[And that was before this whole thing even started.]

...What would you do if it turns out you've never gotten the respect you think you deserve?

Well... what if people thought you weren't worth anything, and you can't do anything to change that?

Find new people? That's basically what I did - first the...Player and all that, and then this here. Not that this one was on purpose, but...people here have still been a whole lot nicer than they were back home.

Find new people... [She scoffs harshly.] I tried that. But I thought someone actually did care about me... Then it turned out she didn't. Not like she wanted me to think she did.

[He's got no reason to question her on that; people are just like that sometimes.]
