[Last week, Gershwin High School Academy University saw its very first intentional murder! What a milestone! And right after Spongebob's No Murder party, too - that doesn't seem like it bodes very well for anybody's future.

You all wake up this morning with yet another new memory returned to you. You'll also find that the school's external doors have now unlocked. Congratulations! You're free! Unfortunately, you also seem to be entirely in the middle of nowhere. So maybe it's more of a symbolic victory.

Still, you should look around and do some investigation! Maybe you'll find a fun surprise.]

[ It's just laying on the ground now after Rina realized what it was and dropped it. ]</small?

[Elle moves over to Rina to scoop her into a hug.]

Are you okay? Are you hurt?

[ She lets herself be hugged and even clings to Elle a little bit. A lot of the older girls here remind her a bit of Ai in the way they look out for her, but Elle especially does with all the hair and fashion sense, which helps her feel safer.

She shakes her head. ]

Mm-mm. I'm not hurt... just scared.

[Feeling Rina cling, Elle squeezes a little tighter.]

Did it come out of the vending machine? [The "or were you attacked?" hangs silently in the air.]

[ She nods. ]

Mmhm. It did...

...I think the blood on it is dry, thankfully.

[Elle breaths a sigh of relief.]

Good, I'm glad you're okay.

[She pulls back just enough to look down at Rina.]

Let's get your other stuff and get it back to your room, okay? I'll take care of the knife later.

[ She nods. ] O-Okay.

Th-Thank you, Elle-san.

It's no trouble!

[Elle gives Rina another squeeze before letting go to gather the items on the floor, making sure to kick the dagger away from the pile.]

I have a question. What's that thing you say after my name? Maya does it too.

Huh? Oh...

[ Thankfully she has gotten a little used to explaining this with Varian, so it's easier this time! ]

It's an honorific - we use a bunch of them all the time in Japanese to be respectful. "San" is like... I guess in this case it'd be like "Miss"?
