Week Four

[Last week, Gershwin High School Academy University saw its very first intentional murder! What a milestone! And right after Spongebob's No Murder party, too - that doesn't seem like it bodes very well for anybody's future.

You all wake up this morning with yet another new memory returned to you. You'll also find that the school's external doors have now unlocked. Congratulations! You're free! Unfortunately, you also seem to be entirely in the middle of nowhere. So maybe it's more of a symbolic victory.

Still, you should look around and do some investigation! Maybe you'll find a fun surprise.]

It’s fine—- knock next time though, jeez! [Farrah’s completely dressed, unless you count the one braid. Which some people might.]

She was here a little bit ago—- why?

[ Orpheus fidgets with the collar of his shirt anxiously, glancing over his shoulder. ]

I just - I remembered more things, and I'm worried about what she might have remembered, and I have to talk to her.

[ He almost bolts back out of the room at that, but then he remembers - ] Are you - how are you doing, though? After everything.

Oh. Yeah—- don’t worry about me. Go check on her, make sure she’s okay. [She hesitates, only a moment, then before he can go—]

After you’ve made sure she’s okay, could you maybe meet me in the Band Room?

[themuseabandonsyou]

Oh? Um, sure, okay. Thank you. [ And he'll go.

It's some nebulous amount of time later, when he shows up in the Band Room, still looking sort of dazed and confused but no longer in such a frantic rush. There's grass stains on his nice white jacket and red pants, but that's fine, they were already covered in paint anyway. ]

Farrah?

[Farrah is almost unrecognizable as the girl Orpheus knows—- she’s bent over the piano, dutifully plucking away, and there are beginner books scattered around her. She jerks upright when he enters the room, and smiles when she realizes who it is.]

Orpheus! You know music, right?

[themuseabandonsyou]

[ Oh, this is unexpected. Orpheus actually smiles a bit as he walks in on her at the piano, and a little bit more when he notices all the beginner's books around her and realizes what she's doing. ]

I like to think I'm good at it! [ he says, brightly. ] Are you trying to learn to play?

Yeah. I want to... I want to learn. Like Salieri. [Not for him—- though, it is for him, a bit. But like him. It’s more of that.]

I’m not normally... the kind of girl who tries something new. But while I’m here, why not?

Right!

[ They do seem to have a lot of free time, here. Orpheus will walk over and gesture to the piano bench. ]

Can I sit with you? I can teach you some of what I know.
