[Last week, Gershwin High School Academy University saw its very first intentional murder! What a milestone! And right after Spongebob's No Murder party, too - that doesn't seem like it bodes very well for anybody's future.

You all wake up this morning with yet another new memory returned to you. You'll also find that the school's external doors have now unlocked. Congratulations! You're free! Unfortunately, you also seem to be entirely in the middle of nowhere. So maybe it's more of a symbolic victory.

[ calls Orpheus from a little ways away, having wandered over too late to see her actually fall and thus very concerned about seeing someone just... lying there, after the scare with Mister Barker this morning. He approaches slowly and cautiously, picking through the underbrush carefully, and kneels next to her. ] Are you okay?

Kitchen

[ Orpheus happens to be there taking stock of the pantry when Rina shows up, trying to estimate how much flour is left in one of the bags. He glances up at her when she starts getting more ingredients together though, and wanders over to take a look. ]

What are you making? Maybe I can help.

[He gives her a smile.]

Then I think she still loves you with all her heart.

[He sounds genuine in this. Sure, he doesn't know her, and maybe he's being overly optimistic, but who was he if he didn't have his optimism.]

Gardens

[It has been ages since Angus has been in clean, crisp air. The Land of the Unicorns was the last place with beautiful meadows and sparkling water, and while the school gardens are nowhere near that enchanting visage, they are better than the prison of the school.

Angus stands in the middle of the path, taking deep breathes. Proof that he is alive.]

How much I have longed for this smell. [He is quiet, but not solemn.] Even if the freedom is false.

[While Salieri's reading, Discord is just... looking through the books? Who knows what he's looking for, he's been collecting odds and ends the whole time.

[He gets out of the front of the vehicle and stands up, looking at the way it's rumbling where it sits.]

I could try to wheel this car out of here, but...I've never driven one before.

[He shakes his head a little, like he still can't believe it either.]

[He has to ask Farrah. He has to confirm that the Riley Williams he met is the same one that tried to kill her. It's a terrifying potential conversation, but it could answer a few questions about The Wizard.

He exits the building with a red cape and a white half-mask in his hand, looking for someone to speak to, and unfortunately, it's Farrah.]

[A chess piece slams into the ground.]

The garage door too! [Farrah laughs with delight, stretching her arms wayyyyyyy up to the sky. ]

That’s crazy! Wow. It feels so good to be outside. Ruddy loves it too, huh?

But I can see some of my theory is correct. There are more floors above ours. The Wizard must be up there.

A wizard atop of a tower? [She shakes her head, almost amused.]

It's a cliche, and a terrible one at that.

I won again. That is two, now. It was another one of my classmates, as well. I... believe it stands to reason that it's meant to take place with all of my schoolmates, though I am unsure how many days it will go for.

[This time it isn't the desperate whimper of a prisoner trying to avoid punishment, but a man whose strength has crumbled in front of those he wanted to be strong for the most.

His skin is still warm to the touch, although not as direly hot as before, and he starts struggling to sit upright.]

[ Out of a pants pocket, Peregrine withdraws a white and orange friendship bracelet. As she does, her cloak falls back to reveal that she's got a matching one, blue and white. ]

[Maya gives his shoulders a tap, gentle at first, but she'll press down firmly if she needs to.]
