[Happy Friday, everyone! The end of a long week of traumatizing motives, meetings that become Come to Jesus meetings and a menagerie of cafe cryptids. All things considered, not a bad second week in a murder school.


The school feels calm and quiet as everyone rouses themselves from sleep but quiet can be awfully deceiving.]

[When Sissi hits the floor, it's enough to jar Salieri out of his shock, and he's pushing forward to run to her side, immediately dropping down on a knee to gently scoop her up]

Madame Elisabeth--

[She's not responding. She's still alive, but very much senseless right now, eyes rolled to the back of her head.]

[whooboy--he's going to brace Sissi a bit more against his chest and into his lap, one arm still around her shoulders, trying to use his hand to fan her face with his other]

Madame Elisabeth, please wake up--

[Oh. Oh no.

If Spongebob's screaming, and Mumble isn't even reacting to it...

Cassadnra's roughly shaken out of her stupor by Elisabeth fainting. Her heart is loud in her chest, adrenaline coursing through her.]

Salieri, get her out of here. [Her voice is even, despite a low tremble.] We'll handle this.

[Salieri glances over to her at that--before he nods once, moving to scoop Sissi up, standing slowly and cradling Sissi to his chest as he walks out with her, making for the dorms so she can at least lay down]

[It does take a bit, but she does finally come to after a little bit of lying down, though she's still clearly in a bit of shock.]

Monsieur Salieri...?

[violentenvies]

[Salieri's sitting at her bedside, gently pressing one of his wet handkerchiefs to her brow]

Madame Elisabeth. How are you feeling?

[wanderlusttitania]

[She takes a shaky breath.]

W--

was that real? Was...>was he really...?!

[violentenvies]

[Salieri's brow furrows, mouth pinching at this]

...I'm afraid so, madame.

[it might be more obvious now that there's a slight tremble in his hand as he dabs her brow]

......oh.........

[She buries her head in her hands as it sinks in, letting out a sob.]

How...how could someone....!?

[violentenvies]

[Seeing Sissi bury her head in her hands makes that already tight knot in Salieri's chest squeeze tighter, and he sucks in a shaky breath]

I don't know. I don't know, Madame, I--

[he's fumbling, then, hands trembling harder as he tries to pull another handkerchief out of his inside pocket.]

Here--here, use this--[and he's gently moving to ease one of her hands away, pressing it into that hand, shaking pretty badly]

[She gives him a sad nod as she continually dabs her eyes. After a long silence, she finally speaks again.]

God, I...we must...we must find who did this...and why...why him?! It's too cruel...!

[violentenvies]

It is. I...I'm sorry you had to bear witness to such a thing.

[he sucks in a breath. In the silence, he's taking some hard breaths and managed to quell some of the trembling, but he might still be blinking a bit more rapidly than normal.]

...we shall discover it. Who has done such a thing. We must.

[disharmonizes]

[Discord's just sort of wandering over, with a bag of chips. Oh, here's people. Let's pretend this is like right before the announcement hits.]

Aren't we all worked up early in the morning.

[violentenvies]

[Salieri is walking out with Sissi and is more than a few steps out the door when Discord appears, and says that--and Salieri's fragile grip on his patience snaps as it always seems to do with Discord being involved]

With good reason!

[disharmonizes]

Touchy! Well, this I have to hear. Things haven't been this busy since the first day.

[violentenvies]

[There is very near straight up rage in his eyes, and his jaw clenches, and really it's the fact that he has Sissi in his arms and needs to get her someplace not here that keeps him from wanting to really lay into Discord]

Mumble is dead, Monsieur.

[disharmonizes]

...I'm sorry?

[ha ha he must have misheard that r--

oh there's the announcement. hm.]

He's dead! [this one, a bit more snapped, in a low voice]

I know you care little for any of us, but if, for once in your life, you could have some decorum, now would be the time!

[Honestly, Salieri was expecting more of a fight, but when he doesn't get one, he'll just--forge forward and take Sissi to the dorms so she can lay down]
