[It’s Thursday, and so you might very well expect nothing to happen today. Sure, there was no motive handed down on Tuesday, and the Phantom claims that his patron has chosen to end this show early. But he said by the end of the week; you’ve got a few more days yet before that.

So it may come as something of a surprise when all of the mirrors in all of the dressing rooms swing open simultaneously.

Nobody is there, and there is no announcement. But the intention seems clear. Gather your group, and bring anything you don’t want to leave behind. This means your important items and also your pets! Except for the horse...it seems he isn’t in his stall today.]

Christine immediately picks up the box, trying to shush it, bouncing it in her hands as if it is a tiny child.]

[JUST TURN IT OFF!!!]

[She hits one or two of the buttons, trying to get it to stop screaming and do something... less awful.]

[OKAY YOU TURNED IT OFF good job.

For the record, the other machines here include an EMF detector and one of those heat-vision cameras. Sorry you don't watch Ghost Hunters or something, Christine.]

[She does not, but she might gather these little items later. See if maybe they can be used elsewhere.

Maybe there's something she can do with the microscope and the petri dishes? She'll see if there's a slide on it already and peek at it, trying to remember how to adjust the slides.]

[It looks like there is a slide there already! It appears to be a bit of dirt.

There's also a Petri dish containing more dirt near the microscope, so it probably came from that.]

[Huh! Okay, cool. She fiddles with the slide a little longer, before looking at the Petri dish. Has it been labelled at all?]

[Nah it's just dirt]

[Damn. She was hoping she could at least find out if it come from somewhere outside. Oh well! Time for her to pick up one of the other dishes. Maybe see if she can... try to prepare a slide? Does she remember how to do that?]
