[At the start of Friday, things are surprisingly calm. There’s no blood on the hall carpet, presumably no bodies ready to fall out of a broom closet, nothing especially incriminating when the cast wakes up and emerges from their rooms. It’s possible this time, even with the palpable temptation of the Phantom’s motive, that no one has taken him up on his offer to kill. Maybe later today you won't have to march yourselves into the trial room to decipher clues and watch more of you die.

But the day is young.]

[Okay. Great. Tea friend is dead. Christine is super thrilled and not just. Shell shocked.

She heads to the studio when she heard the announcement, and as terrified as she is, she heads over to look at the body. Is there any sign of how she... died?]

[Angus is here, ready to help her with any of the gross stuff.]

[The body has two wounds, one on her lower right back and one in her gut. Close inspection of these could easily get gross!

There's also some stuff going on with one of her hands. That's not as gross. Divide as you see fit!]

[Angus is checking the wounds! Whichever one is closest first.]

[We can start with the back, then.

This is a pretty deep wound. It looks rather like a slash, but it's notably deeper on the left side than the right.]

[So that's...likely important. What about her other wound?]

[TBH, it's basically the same deal, except in her gut.]

[I think he has a decent chance at guessing what was used.

Does any of them look like they were healing?]

[Well, no, they look pretty fatal.]

[Yeah, it's time to check those hands. Christine swears a bit under her breath, but slowly turns her left and right hands to examine them.]

[Claudine's right arm is lying at an unnatural angle, given how the rest of her body is positioned. Her hand is facing upwards, and it's closed.]

[Oh geez, like broken unnatural? Christine looks over the arm and starts to pry Claudine's fingers open.]

[Not that much! More positioned after she died unnatural.

Claudine's right hand is covered in blood. There is a small shard of pink gemstone in her palm.]

[Well, that's odd. Doesn't look like it's from jewelry...

Christine decides to look around the room next. Any other gem shards nearby?]

[Nothing like that, but it looks like there's bloodstains from where Claudine's body is lying to the center of the room, about three or four feet away.]

[Well, then, she's just going to carefully follow those stains. Are they only in the studio? Is there one particularly large stain?]

[Well, there's also a bloody handprint on a mirror in here.]

[Is it, by any chance, a right handprint?]

[Sure is!

Also, there's some stuff on the ground if you wanna check that out.]

[Of course she does! Whatever she can glean from the scene. Please, don't let it be candles.]

[For one, there's a glove lying on the ground. It's one of those white opera gloves you can get from the merchandise booth - but this one is smeared with blood.]

[Huh. Is the blood smeared around the hand? Could it have reasonably created that right handprint, or is she off base?]

[Nah, it doesn't really look like that at all - the blood is sort of smeared along the middle and side.

Also, hey, there's a gym bag, water bottle, and towel off to the side there.]

[Was someone working out...? Maybe Claudine was rehearsing before she was...

She wishes she would have asked for company. But Christine blinks back tears and decides to dig in the gym bag.]

[Looks like Claudine's shoes and regular street clothes are in here! She is, for the record, currently wearing a black leotard with pink tights and soft ballet slippers.]
