[From the day you arrived on the planet, and blinking, stepped into the sun. There's more to see than can ever be seen, and more to do than can ever be done. Yet, still, the whole thing seems...monotonous. Surely there must be some excitement, some showmanship, some sort of plot twist that could keep this show moving onward?

Well, he did say that he's a pirate captain, which means he must have a crew. He may be very persuasive or skilled enough that people want to follow him, regardless of his methods. It is not the way I would ever wish to have people follow me, but that is a matter of personal opinion.

Indeed, they are! We did consider one for a time, but my crew is full of animal-lovers. Kitten or cat, either would be just as distracting!

We've been at sea together for thirteen years, I'd certainly hope I'd know them this well! Many of them have been with me for even longer!

Listen, Hime... [he pronounces it wrong but you know what, he's trying] I can certainly see where such a thing would be scary. But! Does it really matter what a stranger thinks of you? If you make a mistake - as everyone does - you simply own up to it, do you not? You learn from those mistakes, just as everyone else does! While there are certainly people who will judge, those are not the sorts of people you want to surround yourself with! As such, does their opinion truly matter at all?
