WEEK 2
[From the day you arrived on the planet, and blinking, stepped into the sun. There's more to see than can ever be seen, and more to do than can ever be done. Yet, still, the whole thing seems...monotonous. Surely there must be some excitement, some showmanship, some sort of plot twist that could keep this show moving onward?

[She grabs the scabbard with her one hand, in a tight grip. Before she yanks it from her hand, however, she looks back up at him.]

And. The sword?

Yeah. Gonna take a wild guess and say you're not alone there.

I don't know. I mean, the rule is that we can leave if someone commits a murder and isn't found out, right? That implies that we'll have a chance to catch them, but... Who knows.

Like investigate? On our own?

I don't know what they want us to do! But, I mean, if that happens... I'm going to want to know who did it.

I guess... I don't know how to do that kind of thing without help. I mean, investigate! But not the other thing either!

Dressing room hallway, one-person prompt, first come first serve~

[Well today's been...an adventure, let's call it that. After everything calms down - ha - D-ne retrieves something from her room: coins. With a red ribbon in her hair now, she takes to the merchandise booth!

...and doesn't get to exchange much, because it seems one of the items worries her. A shriveled severed hand? Yikes. With the other three items shoved in her pockets, she hurries to the dressing room hallway and doesn't seem like she'll be stopped for anything. Someone can probably flag her down before she gets to her room, to ask what the heck that thing is.

Later in the day, it seems she's calmed down some and hesitantly returns to the booth. She'll be in the lobby in the late afternoon, examining her findings. There's a giant French flag...? And an unfortunate poster...? And a puppet...?

...And a meat pie?

At least this is somewhat interesting...

[And, before the kitchen closes, she'll make some of her favorite tea, sweet osmanthus. It seems like A Day to need some.]

[That surprises her, but all at once relieves her as well. It's not like she cares what other people think about how much she loves B-ko, but. Still.]

M-mm... Well, thank you, then...

Do... Do you have anyone you like?

You've never met someone from there? [what a wonderfully forward and awkward question] Ah... I don't really know how to describe it? I've never lived anywhere else or gone traveling, so...

He has agreed not to try and arrest me until we've returned to Paris.

That's still pretty sad... I knew the program said you'd done something bad, but you always seemed so nice. Is anyone else upset?

An instrument! That's one useful thing, at least. That...

[He frowns at the mask for a second.]

...why would it only cover half of the face?

[she sees it out of the corner of her eyes, and... no, that can't be what she thinks it might be, can it?]

Nope. Flying solo for now. I'm leaving home next year, so it's easier that way.

[because she remains blissfully ignorant of regains.]

It isn't like you're the only person here. And... Yeah, while I'm still not going to trust anyone, you don't seem like the murder type.

I guess so... That's right, everybody would, right? So even if we don't have tools to help, we could still try and stop anyone from getting away with it. I still really hope it doesn't come to that, though.

Well, yeah.

I think I almost feel sorry for him. We're all trapped, but, like, there's a lot more of us, and we have a lot more space.
