trust you've got a game plan
[ At noon on Wednesday, Riley's standing ready in the dining hall, with a clipboard and a big smile to anyone who shows up. She's set blank stacks of paper on the table, but we'll get to that. As promised, there's some basic snacks as well as some tasty banana bread. Snacks for everyone! ]
Welcome everyoooone~! Thank you so much for showing up. This is a new and confusing experience for all of us, but I'm sure if we strive to stick together and cooperate, it'll help us foster the most productive environment that we can. [ Bright, bright smile. ] So! I've gathered all of you so we can share any discoveries and compare basic information that might give us any idea of why we've been brought here. Good? Okaaaay!
[ That smile never leaves her face. She sets something down from her clipboard and starts passing out that blank paper. ]
Sooo, following my example, if you could fill this out, that...can be a good starting discussion!
[ Her example is essentially a survey. Wonderful penmanship, again. ]

Are you saying
[He leans on the table, hands folded, with a serious look.]
That this supercomputer is a threat to us all?
[Wizards from Japan made a sinister computer that is activated by a cheap drink? How evil!]
no subject
Quantum nano-technology CPU
The quantum computer in the pill will travel
Through your blood until
It implants in your brain and it tells you what to do
[As he sings this, Jeremy appears to almost subconsciously be doing some weird hand motions. That's probably fine.]
no subject
Mind control computers! If we had all had one implanted, then it would be only a matter of time until they were activated!
[He clasps a hand on Jeremy's shoulder.] Is there any other way to protect ourselves from this? Can we remove it?
no subject
[Hey, Jeremy? Why do you even know about them if they're so secret?]

assholerebel and watching people bounce around theories and songs. And then Jeremy starts shaking like a leaf and spouting things about super computers and mind control and he lets out a roaring laugh.]
Only one way to know for sure, ladies and lads. [He throws his legs off the table and rises to his feet, rounding to approach Jeremy and Angus. He picks up the bottle of soda, lightly tossing it between his hands.] And if I go all robo Jonny one of you cuts my throat, I bounce back ten minutes later and all's just dandy.
no subject
[Bad! Don't! Did you not just see him freak out about this!!!]
no subject
He just doesn't care particularily.
Jonny twists off the cap, raises it in a cheers to the room and proceeds to chug half the radioactive yellow-green soda in just a few short gulps.]
1/2
2/2
But for real, nothing happens. You are not full of Squip. Except, uh, the people who are? rip in pieces]
no subject
Yeah. Jeremy's making friends with the floor.]
oh my god oh my god oh my god
no subject
Riley takes this moment to sweep over and try to help Jeremy up. ]
Ooookay!!! I think that is enough talk about SQUIPs and Mountain Dew for today, don't you?!?!
[ Her voice is an octave higher than usual. ]
no subject
At least, uh. We probably don't all have supercomputers in our brains? [Haha. Ha.] Yay.
no subject
[She is fussing, but really, after a display like that, what else is she supposed to do?]
no subject
no subject
[Knowledge is power!! But he's had too much knowledge for one hour or whatever at this point.]

Don't worry, I'll take notes when I come back.
[She kind of pats his arm as they walk. Better not bother telling her not to come to your room now, Jeremy.]
no subject
[He's just kind of. Letting himself be dragged away by Christine, because that's easier than resisting TWO different girls trying to mom friend him. He can barely resist one girl trying to mom friend him.]
Um, you - you know you don't have to walk me all the way back to my room, Christine.
no subject
[Wow, Christine, you know sarcasm?]
It's fine. I want to make sure you're okay... sounds like there was a lot of stressful stuff we needed to talk about.
no subject
[He pulls a face, setting down the half empty bottle and screwing the cap back on.] Is it supposed to taste like vaguely irradiated lemonade that's been run through a battery?
