WEEK 1

[With the introduction of their showrunner and a brief run through of what they're in for in their time in the Opera House out of the way, the performers are free to explore the first floor of the opera house at their leisure then and for the rest of the week that lies ahead. The double doors leading to the kitchen will be unlocked at 7 am and locked at 10 pm for intermission. Performers are free to prepare meals for themselves and others at any time outside of intermission.

The Merchandise Booth will also be open for business after the first day as some of the performers may find envelopes with their names on it taped to their doors in the morning.

If performers wish to have private conversations with their showrunner, The Balladeer, just step up to the box office and see if he's in.

Enjoy your week, everyone.]

[Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday]

[ooc: This is the last mod post for the week for us! Feel free to start depositing coins in the merch booth if any of your threads have reached that length, so long as they're not with the Balladeer. Remember, song threads mean double coins! There will be no murder this first week so gain all the CR you can while it lasts, darlings.]
solomonjihad: (maybe I can be friends!)

Not too far, only a couple of years. Less than a decade.

[Yup. Future people. You haven't been confused until you have Astarte try to explain the internet to you.]
allicareabout: (SHRUG Δ honey we're all half-centaur)

[personal profile] allicareabout 2016-10-13 05:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Good to know, good to know.

[And that's either a good sign or not at all, kind of like everything else in this place.]

So how's the new millennium treating everyone? Since it looks like the world's still standing by then.
solomonjihad: (well I don't know...)

[personal profile] solomonjihad 2016-10-13 06:07 pm (UTC)(link)
...As well as a world with 6 billion humans can be treated. War, hunger, disease...even with the technology we have, they still exist.

Its otherwise all right.

[Backhand complimenting Earth is...what you do, apparently.]

allicareabout: (GENDO Δ get on the witness stand andy)

It'd be more a problem if things like that didn't exist - that'd mean something fundamental'd changed about humans and how they work. And that would be concerning.

[...Good to see where everybody in this conversation stands on the Idealism vs Cynicism scale, lord.]

That's about four billion more than we've got already, though, people-wise - makes you wonder where they're putting them all.
solomonjihad: (well I don't know...)

[personal profile] solomonjihad 2016-10-13 06:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I wouldn't know. Though...mother would say the fact they didn't change would be the problem.

...

Humans, I mean...
allicareabout: (TILT Δ okay but that's really dumb)

[personal profile] allicareabout 2016-10-13 06:45 pm (UTC)(link)
[...o...kay, that went places.]

Do you always talk like you're not one?

Oh...that's because I'm not human.

[She turns away, at this, and without warning begins to sing, her eyes looking up to the ceiling.]

Don’t forget.
You’re no ordinary girl.
You were born here again
To be strong,
And to cleanse the Earth.
Your mother’s wish has always been
For that.
So I pray that you
Don’t forget.
