Week 7

[Last week, on It's Curtains...boy, that sure was a year-long week, huh?

But despite it all, you've gotten through it with less death than there might have been. Spongebob and Farrah both survived their ill-conceived plan; Maya, with the intervention of Janis and Hester, survived her triple murder. Since the failed execution, there has been no sign of the Wizard or of Hester. It seems like you may have gotten away with that cleanly!

When you wake up on Sunday, you remember everything. All the gaps, the missing pieces, entire chunks of time from back home - they're back and neatly fitted where they should be in your heads. Elle, Orpheus, and Eurydice have also been given graves alongside the others in the garden. These ones were filled in for you; after all, you were all pretty occupied over the weekend.

Other than that...it seems like some unusual posters have been put up around the school. Sounds like something's going to happen this week. You'd better prepare.]

[ Peregrine can't think of any other way to respond. So she follows this up by sucking in a very large puff of her joint. ]

[ while she's taking that puff: ]

Oh my god and I just passed out, I'm a terrible girlfriend! It was your birthday!

[ Peregrine chokes loudly and almost drops her joint. ]

Holy shit don't die! I'm a way worse girlfriend if you die!

[ Hack! Cough! Choke! Peregrine almost loses the balancing act on her elbows that she’s got going. ]

Janis! Jeez!!

Per, I also don't know shit or fuck about relationships with girls outside of, like. But I'm a Cheerleader. I am literally winging it at all times. We're all in this together. But I am sorry no one has told you how hot you are before now, because I'm just saying that I'm down. That's all.

[ She practically squeaks: ] No, oh my gosh, it just woulda been really weird, I’ve known every other kid in Whitetail like my whole life!!

How does anyone date anyone in small towns? Where do new small town people come from?

If you're thinkin' outside, they don't. They just don't. People don't move to Whitetail, at least not...normally.

[ Howl was special circumstances. ]

Some people try it. Like...Lexy and JF, it wasn't weird for them. [ She actually smiles kind of sadly. ] Leaving Whitetail made it harder, actually.

I mean... yeah, that makes sense.

[ a beat. ]

God, I don't even know everyone at my school.

I can name everyone in my graduating class.

[ Huh. Huh!! ]

...We all graduated already, by the way. That's some of what I remembered.
