[Last week, Gershwin High School Academy University saw its very first intentional murder! What a milestone! And right after Spongebob's No Murder party, too - that doesn't seem like it bodes very well for anybody's future.

You all wake up this morning with yet another new memory returned to you. You'll also find that the school's external doors have now unlocked. Congratulations! You're free! Unfortunately, you also seem to be entirely in the middle of nowhere. So maybe it's more of a symbolic victory.

[Everyone saw her. No doubt. Everyone definitely heard her, too. What did she expect? Rushing out of the school, listening to the panic in her heart, rushing to... where, exactly? Stupid. That's what she is.

I'm here... [She calls weakly, stretching an arm out of the dirt, waving limply before letting it way back to the ground with the rest of her.]

By the way, you said you were going to "set up"...is that the surprise you were talking about?

[ Her arms prickle at that; Connor did get it. It felt like he would understand her. Like if she told him about...everything, he would listen, get it, get why she needed it.

...Maybe that's a bad thing. Maybe it would've been better if she talked to him and he reacted like Maya, considering. ]

You turn to pain and hate or try to numb yourself.

[ Her brows knit together, and for the first time since Connor died, her eyes probe with their inquisitive look. ]

[ Oh… hand… she shifts the basket into just one hand and takes his with the now free one before nodding. ]

M-Mmhm… I…

[ Man she wish she had worn the board out here, it would help her talk easier, knowing she actually had an accurate expression for him to look at. ]

I actually… put together a picnic.

[Once he spots her, he crunches on over. She's just...lying in the leaves, huh?]

He'll start to walk towards the tree at the end of the garden, moving slowly in case Rina decides she wants to set up somewhere else, like closer to the flowerbeds.]

Aw...that's a great idea. I can't remember the last time I went on a picnic.

[And even though Ruddiger isn't with him at this very moment, don't worry- he'll be joining from the forest as soon as he smells their food.]

Huh. So like how I know what's going on when Cady and the Plastics are onstage, that... works other places sometimes?

[How fortunate for Elsa then, that she would get the chance to have yet another sleepover. Cassandra never took to the time to have sleepovers. Not much time for them when you're a member of the castle staff. You're always busy, between washing dishes and linins, mending and fitting clothes, and sneaking out on your own time to train and map out Corona's system of labyrinthian tunnels trailing under the island and beyond. Not much time for sleepovers, or friends. Rapunzel had only just talked her into the idea a year ago. Credit where it's due, that mentally prepared her for half a year living in a cramped caravan.

Rapunzel... Rapunzel? That voice, is it calling her?

...No. She knows that voice. That's not Rapunzel. It wouldn't be, would it? But her sleep-addled brain finds it... just as pleasant. There's something here, forming slowly in her mind. Comfortable feelings that she's felt before, just not like this.

Cassandra, whether subconsciously or not, shifts her head. Listening. Searching. Finally, she wills her eyes to open.]

Elsa...?

Yeah. Uh. ...He actually left a letter. It wasn't, like—...like. I don't know. It said it was...just in case.

[ ... ]

It...was addressed to me.

[Pretty much! It doesn't look like there's any other paths leading to or from anyplace else.]

I suppose that means that neither of us are alone, then. Right?

Yeah! Yeah, pretty much. That was...

[He goes quiet, thinking about it for a second.]

When that thing happened with Hester, it felt almost like I knew a line of script, for a second. I've wondered since, if...the Wizard meant me to. He wasn't there to say anything, but I was.

I guess I have nothing to worry about, then.

If this keeps up, I'll be perfectly stable!

[ The tree was exactly where she was hoping to go, right under it. It reminds her of Hanami picnics kind of, even though there’s no sakura here. ]

I’m glad. I wanted to do something nice to try and cheer you up - I know you had a rough day yesterday. Plus, girls back home make lunches for the people they like all the time so um…

[ She wanted to make… bento…… ]

At least while we're here together, you don't have to worry. Okay? Like don't lie to me, but... Even if it's just pretending, having that option is nice.

Shine powers the stage. And I have noticed that the more... passionate our duels are, the more the stage reacts. You should have seen my most recent display.
