Week Two

[Last week, no murder happened! Instead, a lot of students started work on Salieri's school play, which sounds pretty cool even though it's gonna be short, several people destroyed Bigfoot and got a few mysterious clues, and Orpheus started a fire in the kitchen! All in all, not a bad first week!

Though some people might have gone to talk to Hester, she hasn't made any more public announcements. There's some new papers posted up around the cafeteria, but it looks like it's just your upcoming lunch schedule. Seems like nothing's driving you towards Rule Five except, perhaps, all of the kidnapping and how criminally boring some of you are finding the school. Maybe the Balladeer is right, and you really can just wait this out? Only time will tell!]

Lizards love heat. They're like young dragons in that way.

We could do a lot more to fight the Wizard if we had dragons. Imagine if we each had a steed...

Can you train a lizard to fight?

Maybe if it were poisonous?

Some may shoot blood out of their eyes. [Glancing at the lizard vibing on the table.] This is likely not one of those species.

To strike fear in their enemies, obviously. Would that not deter the weak-hearted?

[The lizard continues sitting there like a lizard.]

For moral support, we shall keep them. In a desolate time as this, we need all sources of hope we can find.

[He smiles at the lizard.]

Ha! We could paint lizards on everything, that'd be fun. Prettier than that weird groundhog.

[Haha, wow, okay! The Balladeer chuckles a little in surprise. This is absolutely not his style of music whatsoever, but Angus is just so earnest about it; he'd feel bad not even attempting to participate!]

That's it! We will be the lizard warriors, fighting the forces of evil. How does that sound?

We will need our own uniforms, however we may make it.

Too bad no one's dorm color is green, or we could just use those. [...] I guess the color for the whole school is supposed to be green?

Why did they not chose a lizard in the first place? [It's so obvious.] Or is the green meant to represent the rolling meadows of the groundhog's home?

Ha, maybe? I don't know how they choose these things - do you think it was actually a school at some point before this?

I...suppose? I have visited boarding schools before, but they look nothing like this. I thought it could be that I had only the most prestigious magical academies.
