Isekai - it means "another world". It's a type of story genre back home, usually for light novels, anime or sometimes video games, and refers to when characters are magically brought to another world that's not their own. Kind of like... [ wait what's a non-weeb equivalent uhhhhh ] Alice in Wonderland.

They're only stories and not real, but I bring them up because... I don't think we're all from the same world.
