Now that you mention it... It's good to know someone in my age group.
[She's been dealing with men and adults all morning. This is a nice reprieve.]
Music and acting are all I have ever known.
[Maya's own smile is fond.]
I have always wanted to be a star. And now I am closer than ever.
[And then her expression shutters.]
Or, I was. This... certainly puts a damper on things.
