[Oh no. Oh, no. Raoul had wanted to see the others again, but...not like this. Not with a death. And not for Natalie.

He doesn't approach the body right away, instead taking a moment to lean against the entrance to the hallway and breathe, eyes sweeping the area. Is there anything strange about the hallway - scuff marks indicating a struggle, blood spatter, discarded items, anything? Or are the clues mostly on her body?]

[There seems to be a cushion of some kind lying a few feet away from the body.]

[Nice, excellent, let's go look at that cushion. What's the color, size, and physical state of the cusion? Would it be one that he might recognize from somewhere else within the opera house?]

[The cushion looks rather like it came from the chairs in the library. They're fairly large, being seat cushions and all.

This one is pretty destroyed, with two holes blown in it. The stuffing is falling out.]

[dechagny]

[Two holes blown in it? Raoul crouches down to pick the cushion up, being careful about the stuffing falling out. Are there any marks or smells Raoul would notice that might indicate what made the holes?]

[Smells like gunpowder.]

[Yeah that's pretty distinct, but it also makes his blood boil. A gun...someone had a gun here, and real bullets - no doubt the gun came from the merchandise booth. Why does he think that? Because look how much dangerous shit he's gotten out of there himself!

He narrows his eyes in disgust and shakes his head.] Damn it all...she'd been shot!

[He's gonna punch whoever did this.]
