third investigation
[The Opera House is quiet on Friday, just as it was quiet last Friday. There's no immediate smell of blood the air and most everyone was pretty blase about the motive earlier in the week this might just be a deathless week.
The only way to know for sure is to investigate.]

Not Eliza. She liked his music. Cue a flurry of capes to the library.

[Seymour had suspected someone would die today but why Eliza?
He abandons his search in the bakery to go down to the library. But while he is getting used to the idea of death he doesn't get close enough to get a good look at Eliza's body.
She didn't deserve any of this.]

That's the first thought that enters her head; that can't be true, because Eliza told her just last night that she would stay safe, so she has to be alive. Of course, Natalie heads to the library anyways. It doesn't make sense. She's not—
When she sees her body, she freezes in place. She's not moving. She's not breathing. It's real. Natalie doesn't cry, but she seems to deflate slightly, and her voice is quiet when she speaks.]
...What happened to her?

...I'm not sure yet.
[And that's...clinical, really.]
We'll figure it out, though.
